Director, Editor, and Cinematographer

All These Marks is about choices, unexpected regret and grappling with an identity that no longer fits. In a tiny tattoo shop in Springfield, Missouri, men with hate tattoos confront the choices of their pasts as they attempt to make a better life for themselves and the people they love. The film is a look at the uncomfortable—but honest—question of who gets a hate tattoo and why they want it gone now.

Making Of: All These Marks

All These Marks was made over the course of six months, and included time spent in Justins tattoo shop as well as in depth interviews with tattoo recipients. I directed, filmed and edited this project, and the film won Best Film in the 2019 Stronger than Fiction Film Festival. As a result, the film played at the First Look Film Festival at the Museum of the Moving Image in March 2020
